About the School of Law

The School of Law

The School of Law is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Aarhus University.

There are about 1,900 full-time students and about 250 part-time students registered with the School of Law.

The courses are divided into a 3 year Bachelor degree course and a 2 year Masters degree course. In addition, the School offers courses for Ph.D degrees in law, and a course in professional legal studies.

The School is organised with a Department of Private Law, a Department of Public Law, a Department of Procedure and Criminal Science, a Department of Jurisprudence, a School Secretariat, an Academic Study Board Secretariat, a Printing workshop, a Library and an IT department.
